According to Paul's brother, Robert J Boeding, Paul was killed in a truck accident in Dinant, Belgium. This accident occured on October 3, 1944. Due to the fact that the Army markes his death as "Died Non Battle", Paul never received a Purple Heart. May his story on this website and his final resting place in Henri-Chapelle be the award he deserves ! |
